This video showcases the launch of the NEFCA initiative, a programme created by Developing the Young Workforce and hosted at the prestigious Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa. The event was a collaboration of high schools and local businesses along Fife's North East Coast to spotlight career opportunities in hospitality. The video was tailored to emphasise community engagement and professional growth, demonstrating the power of storytelling in promoting educational and career-focused initiatives.
I completed this project in conjunction with my Videography and Editing course at Edinburgh College. I had the pleasure of interviewing Bill Fiet, a Leslie native. I tried to capture Bill's experiences living in a large village in Fife, highlighting its community and the challenges faced over the decades. Leslie wasn't my birthplace or the village I grew up in, but it's the place I call home.
