CINEMATIC WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY IN FIFE AND CENTRAL SCOTLAND

A 25% Booking Fee is required to secure your wedding or event date. This fee confirms our services and reserves your date exclusively in our calendar.

The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event or wedding date. Filming and delivery of services cannot proceed until full payment has been received.

The following cancellation policy protects your Booking Fee and compensates for work and opportunities lost due to cancellations.

Cancellation Timeframes:

• 90 days or more before the event date: the full Booking Fee will be refunded.
• Between 90 and 30 days: 50% of the Booking Fee will be refunded.
• Less than 30 days: the Booking Fee is non-refundable.
• The Booking Fee represents a genuine pre-estimate of the loss we incur in preparing for your event, rather than a penalty charge.

Important Note on Cancellation:

If the wedding or event is cancelled 30 days or less before the date, the entire package price (Booking Fee plus Final Balance) is non-refundable. This compensates for turning away other work and the time dedicated to preparing your film.

If the cancellation arises from circumstances beyond the Client’s control (for example, serious illness, family emergency, or force majeure events such as pandemic restrictions or venue closure), the Videographer will act reasonably and discuss possible rescheduling or partial refund options.

If you need to postpone your event or wedding, please notify us in writing as soon as possible so we can begin the rescheduling process.

• The Booking Fee will be transferred to the new date, subject to our availability.
• If we are available, your original package price will be locked in. A new agreement will be issued to confirm the change.
• If we are unavailable, the Booking Fee will be subject to our standard Cancellation Policy.

We understand that some circumstances are genuinely beyond your control. If your wedding or event must be postponed or cancelled due to unforeseen events, such as serious illness, family emergency, extreme weather, government restrictions, or other events beyond anyone’s control. We’ll do our best to accommodate a new date without additional cost, subject to our availability.

If the unforeseen event lasts longer than 30 days, or if we are unable to provide our services on your chosen date, we may need to cancel your booking. In this case, any Booking Fee will be handled according to our standard Cancellation Policy.

We will always inform you as soon as possible if such a situation arises and discuss alternative dates where feasible.
